The Government recently announced details of a new grant scheme for householders. The Home Energy Saving Scheme, is designed to assist house holders to improve their insulation, improve their central heating boiler and improve their heating and hot water controls. Carrying out improvements like these will help to improve the comfort of your home, reduce your energy costs and cut down on our greenhouse gas emissions. This scheme is administered by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI). Cavity wall insulation has a €400 grant available, while attics have a €250 grant available.
