Open Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Open cell insulation is the most common used foam spray insulation on the market. This is due to its insulation value and allowing timber in the attic space to breath and contract. Open cell is normally applied at a standard of 4 inches in depth and sprayed inplace right between the rafters/joices of the building. The advantages of this is that you have one continous sheet of insulation running between the timbers where conventional insulation will have gaps from cutting and fixing in place. Open cell will not effect any electrical cables or plumbing the the attic space and due to its soft density can always be penetrated to run further services or just maintence work. The open cell is made using eco-friendly renewable energy sources, such as cater nuts, soy beans, Sugar cane, Sugar beet, and corn where the products are formulated and the food content eliminated to avoid the intrusion of rodents, insects and fungus.
